APSRTC enhances dearness allowance to employees

Vijayawada: The APSRTC management has increased the dearness allowance (DA) to its employees which is applicable from January 1, said Vice-chairman and Managing Director N V Surendra Babu.
He gave the orders on Friday increasing the employees DA from 37.02 per cent to 40.85 per cent. In effect the DA has been increased by 3.83 per cent. The increased DA will be included in the March salary of the employees.
At the same time, the pending DA of January will also be added in the same month salary, the RTC management said. The RTC employees hailed the orders issued by the RTC MD.
