Kakinada: Elaborate arrangements have been made in East Godavari for distribution of pensions to 5,86,808 beneficiaries on Saturday with a budget of Rs 178.88 crore for February. This includes arrears for January under the NTR Bharosa scheme, said Collector Karthikeya Mishra.
Addressing media on the distribution of pensions and Pasupu Kumkuma financial assistance to SHG women at collectorate on Friday, the collector said that 5,54,934 pensioners were given Rs 60.98 crore every month up to the month of December 2018.
