Chandana Suresh donates for CRPF Jawan family
The 24th division corporator, Chandana Suresh, donated Rs 30,000 for the welfare of the family of Ram Vakil, CRPF jawan from Manipur, who lost his life in the recent terror attack against the CRPF Jawans at Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir
Vijayawada: The 24th division corporator, Chandana Suresh, donated Rs 30,000 for the welfare of the family of Ram Vakil, CRPF jawan from Manipur, who lost his life in the recent terror attack against the CRPF Jawans at Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir.
He handed over the money to Municipal Commissioner J Nivas to be forwarded to the family members of the slain CRPF jawan.
Suresh said Ram Vakil was CRPF Jawan from Manipur and his wife Geetha is a home maker. “I will come back in holidays and after getting the loan then we can start the construction of our house.”
This was the promise given by Ram to his wife, but he didn’t return, he said. "After reading this heart-wrenching news in a newspaper, I decided to contribute some amount to help his family for the construction of their dream house," he added.
Corporator Chandana Suresh donated Rs 10,000 and his friends contributed Rs 20,000 and total Rs 30,000 was given to Municipal Commissioner Nivas to be forwarded to the family members of the CRPF jawan.
