Visakhapatnam: For the first time, highest number of students are attending to the Class 10 final examinations in Visakhapatnam district. A total of 56,683 students, including 27,730 girls, are appearing for the final examinations to be conducted from March 18 to April 2. The education department constituted 242 examination centres in the three divisions.
The SSC vocational practical examinations were completed in government and Zilla Parishad high schools and the marks will be uploaded from February 26 in the official website.
Making the arrangements for the final examinations, the administration appointed Chief Superintendents and Departmental Officers on Tuesday. The divisional level meeting cum training will be organised in Visakhapatnam, Anakapalle and Paderu before March 3 to the officials.
The appointment of joint custodians to storage points and custodians to ‘C’ category centres are being appointed. The education department is also appointing invigilators and Additional Department Officers.
Chief Coding Officer and Assistant Coding Officers will be appointed before March 8. The question papers in four sets will be distributed to the storage points from March 4, said A Subba Reddy, Director of Government Examinations.
