Kurnool: The Congress leader and former MLA Byreddy Rajasekhar Reddy alleged that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is laying foundation stones for irrigation projects to derive mileage in the ensuing elections.
Addressing a press conference at party office here on Thursday, Byreddy said Naidu is visiting Kurnool on March 2 to lay foundation stones for Vedavathi Lift Irrigation scheme, Gundrevula and Tungabhadra Low Level Canal (LLC). These irrigation projects will not be completed until the Chief Ministers of Telangana and Karnataka agree for it.
Responding over Congress leader and former Union Minister Kotla Jayasurya Prakash Reddy joining the TDP, Byreddy stated that he made a great mistake by quitting the Congress. Ismail and other party leaders were present.
