Audi India has launched the new genertion R8 V10 Plus at INR 2.47 crore. 2016 Audi R8 V10 Plus faster, more powerful and more dynamic. Sharing about 50% of its parts with the race-spec R8 LMS, the new Audi R8 will sport Audi’s Virtual cockpit, which will be offered as standard.

First seen in at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, new Audi R8 V10 Plus gets a single frame honeycomb front grille and laser headlights. To compete against Mercedes AMG GT in India, 2016 Audi R8 is powered by a 5.2 liter V10 engine generating 610 hp at 6500 rpm. It is mated to a 7 speed S-Tronic gearbox sending power to all four wheels via a Quattro AWD system. 2016 R8 is capable of acceleration from 0 to 100 kmph in 3.2 seconds and does a top speed of 330 kmph.
2016 Audi R8 will sport interiors that are highly driver oriented with easy to operate controls and easily accessible functions. Sporting a high resolution 12.3 inch display, 4G LTE connectivity and myAudi travel information along with Internet radio and WiFi hotspot for passenger use, the R8 will also have Audi connect and Google Earth.
It is priced from INR 2.47 crore, ex-showroom, Mumbai and New Delhi. Launch event at the 2016 Auto Expo was attended by Cricket player Virat Kohli and Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt.
