Delhi: Eicher Trucks and Buses have displayed their range of Eicher Pro Series of haulage trucks besides the recently introduced Eicher Pro 8000 and Eicher Pro 6000 series trucks at the ongoing 2016 Auto Expo. The next generation range of management solutions along with aftermarket services and financing solutions is also on display at the Auto Expo allowing fleet owners better fleet management and cost effective fleet administration.
Eicher Live will be a new and notable feature to be seen on EicherProSeries range of trucks and buses. Eicher Live offers real-time dashboard data of the fleet, keeping owner up to date on information that includes tracking, fuel management, fault identification thereby resulting in better productivity and profitability.
Eicher also showcased the Eicher Skyline AC sleeper coach with 28 passenger berths with features that include foldable LED screens, smoke detectors, rear view camera along with charger facility for laptops and mobile phones and increased luggage capacity.
Eicher is also showcasing Eicher Skyline Pro buses for schools and intercity travel. These buses have been developed at the company’s VECV Pithampur plant in Indore. The buses receive a hybrid system including a conventional combustion engine and electric propulsion system which not only enhances fuel efficiency but also results in lower emissions. Outstanding safety features and state of the art telematics are on offer on these buses.
Also, the 49-tonne 6×4 tractor trailer will be a part of the Pro 8000 Series of trucks which will be joined by Eicher Pro 6000 range in India which includes 6031 and 6025 haulage trucks and 6025T tipper truck. Exports of the Pro 6000 Series range of trucks is also on the cards with plans to export the trucks to markets in South Africa prior to which special modifications to suit the vehicles to local market requirements will be carried out.
