2017 Toyota Etios facelift is launched in Brazil where it is priced from BRL 43,990 to BRL 60,295 (INR 8.3 lakh – INR 11.3 lakh). Changes on the Toyota Etios facelift are restricted to interiors though the only modifications on the exterior is the new alloy wheel design.

Interiors of Toyota Etios facelift include a new instrument panel and new steering wheel. The analogue panel has been replaced by a digital panel though it still continues to be positioned in the center of the dashboard.

New safety features have also been added to the Etios facelift that includes cruise control, ISOFIX child seat mounts and a head restraint besides three point seat belt for middle seat passengers. No changes are seen in the 7” touchscreen infotainment system which was just introduced last year.

Toyota Etios facelift continues to be powered by the same 1.3 liter Dual VVT-I and 1.5 liter Dual VVT-I flex fuel engines as seen on the earlier model. These engines have been tweaked for added performance and are now 9% more fuel efficient.

The 1.5-liter engine offers 107 hp peak power while both engines are mated to 5-speed manual transmission or 4-speed automatic transmission as an option, as against the 6-speed manual transmission seen earlier.
