Month of April saw Tata Motors launch the new Tiago.For April 2016, Tata Motors reports 9.9 percent growth for total commercial and passenger vehicles sales (including exports) at 39,763 vehicles, over 36,190 vehicles sold in April 2015.

Tata Motors commercial and passenger vehicle domestic sales for April 2016 were reported at 35,978 units, equating to 11 percent growth over 32,404 vehicles sold in April 2015.

For April 2016, Tata Motors passenger vehicles sales were reported at 11,161 units, up 7.9 percent over 10,341 units sold in April 2015. Passenger cars sold were 9,451 units, up 5.9 percent. UV sales sold was 1,389 units, equating to 7.7 percent sales growth.

Tata motors launched it’s all new Tiago hatchback earlier in April at a price of Rs 3.20 Lakhs, ex-sh Delhi, for the Revotron 1.2L (petrol) variant and Rs 3.94 Lakhs, ex-sh Delhi, for the Revotorq 1.05L (diesel) variant.

Tata Motors commercial vehicle sales in April 2016 in the domestic market stood at 25,138 units, up 13.3 percent. LCV sales were reported at 12,416 units to mark an increase of 13.3 percent. M&HCV sales growth stood at 13.3 percent at 12,722 units sold last month. Tata Motors reported flat sales from exports at 3,785 units in April 2016.

The company now plans to launch the new HEXA MPV later this year. It was showcased at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo in production-ready guise. Once launched, Hexa will rival the likes of Mahindra XUV500, new Toyota Innova Crysta, etc.
