The Madrid Auto Show from 15-18 March 2017 will have the new Royal Enfield Classic 500 Green Fly off-roader on display. Royal Enfield Classic 500 Green Fly is commissioned by Royal Enfield Spain and created by Jesus de Juan with the ideal taken from the Mo’Powa and Dirty Duck which was seen at the 2016 Wheels and Waves Show in France.

Based on the Royal Enfield Classic 500 and fitted with a framework of a Royal Enfield Continental GT, the Green Fly gets modified tubes and sports a modified rear section. Dual springs have been done away with and monoshocks have been added while being positioned towards the left. Upside down forks in the front and an elongated seat touching the rear wheel are also evident on the Royal Enfield Classic 500 Green Fly off-roader.

To enhance its off-roading stance, the Green Fly is fitted with new tyres while 140 section in front and 150 section at the rear along with brakes similar to those seen on the Royal Enfield Continental GT are seen in the rear and petal discs at the front. Below are a few images.

Royal Enfield Thunderbird custom bike
Road Rage Custom Builds, a Mumbai-based outfit which built the idiosyncratic Hero Karizma custom bike has come up with this mean looking Royal Enfield Thunderbird custom bike. Commissioned by cricketer Suryakumar Yadav who plays IPL for KKR and Ranji for Mumbai, the one-off job is aptly named as Black Knight.

What was once a Thunderbird 350 Twinspark has been stripped off completely and rebuilt again with custom chassis, body parts and color themes. The mean front mask renders the custom bike its fierce character and it’s backed up by custom fuel tank, single seat, black painted engine, black custom alloy wheels, an upward facing exhaust pipe and a smoothly arching tailpiece.

The menacing looks are further enhanced by chassis-mounted LED headlamps, strategically placed fluorescent green ornamental plates and a humongous 250 mm section rear tyres. A very small circular instrument dial rounds off the design.

The custom bike adopts regular front telescopic fork and twin coil springs at the rear. Both wheels are retarded by a disc brake each and a flat handlebar makes for a sporty riding posture.

Road Rage says that the Royal Enfield Thunderbird custom bike costs INR 4.5 lakhs to build. The end result is a sleek looking sports chopper which stands by its name.
