Ducati recently launched a more capable version of the Multistrada Enduro, known as the Multistrada Enduro Pro, in Europe. The Multistrada Enduro was already an exceptionally capable motorcycle but with the launch of the Multistrada Enduro Pro, Ducati has taken the off-road motorcycling affair a notch above.
Ducati also has communicated that they have no plans of launching the Multistrada Enduro Pro in India anytime soon. Ducati gave no specific reasons for the same. It might be that Ducati doesn’t see much demand for such extreme off-road motorcycles in India.
Between the Multistrada Enduro and Multistrada Enduro Pro, there is a difference of equipment, like the Multistrada Enduro Pro gets steel tank protectors that also feature LED lights on either side, a shorter windscreen, a high-performance titanium Termignoni exhaust and more off-road oriented Pirelli Scorpion Rally tyres. The Multistrada Enduro Pro also comes in a unique sand colour paint scheme.
The Multistrada Enduro Pro is powered by the same engine that does duty on the Multistrada Enduro, a 1198cc L-twin Testastretta liquid-cooled motor that is capable of producing 152 HP of power and 128 Nm of torque. This powerplant comes paired to a six-speed gearbox and features ride-by-wire throttle and thanks to that the Multistrada Enduro comes with four riding modes – Urban, Sport, Touring and Enduro.
Nonetheless, Ducati is offering a host of performance accessories like the Enduro Windscreen which is shorter than the stock windscreen, costing Rs 16,706 and the Enduro Multistrada 1200 Enduro accessory package featuring Supplementary LED lights, Ducati Performance components by Touratech (engine protection bars, radiator protection, oil radiator guard, sprocket cover, rear brake guard).
This package comes priced at Rs 97,799. Ducati is also offering the Termignoni exhaust priced at Rs. 95,411/-. Ducati tells that these are the current prices and the post-GST prices will be announced soon.
