Sensex gains 160 points, Nifty eyes 8200 in the opening

Tata Motors, GAIL, SBI, Lupin and Maruti were among the top gainers, whereas HUL, Infosys, Hindalco and Bharti among losers in the Sensex.
Crude oil futures extended their losses on Thursday after notching up declines every day so far this week, hit by growing US stockpiles and an expanding global glut.
