Hyderabad: Cutlery maker Kishco on Wednesday announced its foray into cookware segment by unveiling a new range of cookware in Telangana. The new cookware range will be marketed under the brand name Kishco Innochef.

“We have chosen Hyderabad and Telangana to launch our new products for the first time because people here are progressive, and encourage new innovations. We are looking at rolling out our cookware range across the country over the next six months,” Namita Jain, Managing Director, Kishco Limited, told media here. The company’s products are available for sale at 12 outlets in the city.

The company’s R&D team worked for over six months to develop 100 per cent food-grade metal, consisting of high quality stainless steel. “We are using this metal for making the cookware products. The unique feature of this range is that it is tri-ply, which means that each cookware product is made of three layers of superior quality metals bonded together for greater efficiency and sturdiness,” she explained.

According to her, the product range comprised saute pan, milk pan, sauce pan, fry pan, sauce pan, kadai and the cook & serve pan. Kishco has established a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at Nashik in Maharashtra to produce the cookware. The company has roped in 12 retail outlets in Hyderabad to market its products and plans to expand the outlet count in future.
