Hyderabad: City-based construction major NCC Ltd on Friday said it donated Rs 50 lakh to the families of the 40 CRPF martyrs. The amount was given to the Bharat Ke Veer corpus fund which is managed by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. On behalf of NCC Ltd, Raghu Alluri, Director, NCC IHL, handed over the cheque to Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar, Director General, CRPF at New Delhi.

“The cowardly terror attack on a CRPF convoy in Pulwama in which forty of our brave CRPF jawans have been martyred has united the nation as never before. NCC stands in solidarity with the families of the martyrs,” the construction company said in a release.
