To everyone’s dismay, Sampoornesh Babu, the internet sensation, skipped the trailer launch of his film ‘Hrudaya Kaleyam’ on Monday in Hyderabad. However, the entire unit was in praise for the actor. Explaining the absence of Sampoo as he is called, producer Sai Rajesh said, “He is abroad now and will attend the audio function which will be held shortly,” he said and added that trailer received 1.27 lakh hits when it was first released online. “It has crossed 5 lakh views in four days. We will release the film in the last week of December.”
Dismissing the film as a spoof, he further added that it’s of a different genre. Producer Multidimension Vasu, who was the chief guest at the launch said that he was disappointed by Sampoo’s absence. “He has become the king of social media and I hope to catch him soon,” he said.
Also starring Kavya Kumar, Ishika Singh and Mahesh Katthi in key roles, the film directed by Steven Shankar has music by RK.
Good Cinema Group, which is associated with flicks like ‘Ee Rojullo’ and ‘Pizza 2’, has also joined ‘Hrudaya Kaleyam’ as partners.
