Nagma in trouble over religious conversion

Remember Nagma? Yes, the same actress who played female lead roles with all the top heroes of Tollywood and Kollywood including Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna.

While we were wondering what happened to the actress. Well, she was last seen during the wedding of her half-sister, actress Jyotika who married Tamil star Suriya. The actress disappeared after.

Now, thanks to VHP activists, she's back in news. The news, however, is nothing to cheer about. We hear that Nagma who was born a Muslim converted to Christianity sometime back. She turned so spiritual that she even turned down an offer to act in a Teja movie.

Some time back, pictures showing Nagma and Hindi actor Johnny Lever promoting Christianity started appearing at Mumbai railway station and BEST buses.

This has angered the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal activists a great deal. VHP leader Umesh Rane threatens to act against the duo for propogating conversion of religion.

He alleged that a booklet featuring both the actors in a story show them as claiming that their lives changed for good after coverting to Christianity. VHP now plans to hold havans in front of their residences should the actors continue with their propogation.
