It follows various stages ultimately leading to the extreme step of suicide.

Suicide is a tragic event with strong emotional repercussions for its survivors and for families of its victims. According to an estimate, more than 36,000 people in the U.S. alone kill themselves every year. Statistics also reveal the fact that men seem to be especially at risk, and have nearly four times the suicide rate as women for sundry reasons specific to men themselves.

Loss, depression, anxiety disorders, medical conditions, drug and alcohol dependency, financial, legal or scholastic problems, and other life difficulties can all create weighty emotional distress. They also get in the way with individuals’ ability to solve problems.

Most of the reasons that pave a way for suicides can be addressed effectively to prevent a suicide. Suicide is not the ultimate solution and can be addressed in a better way.

At the very tender age of 33, Uday Kiran committed suicide. Most probably the reason associated with his suicide is either fall in his career of financial crunch. Suicidal symptoms could have palpably followed for quite sometime in Uday Kiran’s case also.

If we clearly analyze the episode of Uday Kiran, the seed for his suicidal thoughts might have been sowed before years. The seed grown into a plant and even that plant became a tree, before he actually committed suicide. Uday Kiran might have been waiting for such a situation, where he could be left alone in the home to show up his plans.

Donation of organs is in general opted by the people in their middle ages. How could this gentleman have decided to donate his eyes after his death, at this tender age? It evidences his long awaited suicide plan. His life partner could have palpably realized the fact well before. Uday Kiran’s suicide should be the last lesson to be learnt by all those who wish to commit suicide.

Suicidal thoughts are temporary; but, suicide is permanent. So, efforts are to be made to prevent such thoughts. The family members of Uday Kiran are of the opinion that he has been under depression for quite sometime.
