Pawan Kalyan's power Vs Mahesh Babu's charm

Mahesh Babu's much-hyped 1 Nenokkadine opened to mixed reviews. However, the movie is doing well at the Box Office despite competition from Ram Charan's Yevadu within two days after its release.

The makers of Yevadu deserves to be lauded for their bold decision to release the film only a day after Mahesh's movie hit theatres. Fans say they were so confident that the movie will do well that they were fearless about facing competition.

Now, we know Mahesh's 1 has not collected as much moolah as it must have.

However, it is not just Charan's Yevadu that was responsible for poor show of audience at the theatres. Another reason is Power Star Pawan Kalyan. It's a known fact that a television channel screened Pawan's recently released Atharintiki Daredi during Sankranthi. Trade analysts feel this too could be the reason for people not showing at the theatres.

It's worth mentioning here that Pawan's Atharintiki Daredhi fetched record TRPs for the channel on which it was aired.

This week saw no major release, so let's hope the box office collection picks up over the weekend.
