Hyderabad: News making rounds that Brahmanandam, a prominent Tollywood comedian, will also be supporting Bharatiya Janata Party. It is evident that Brahmanandam has called on Pawan Kalyan at his residence recently. Since then speculations have been wavering around that Brahmanandam will be entering politics.
Nevertheless, the stand-up comedian strikes all this news as a baseless rumor. He said that he had earlier refused the offers of senior Congress leader and industrialist T Subbirami Reddy who was like his counselor and Chiranjeevi who had extended his full support during his times of dire straits.
He wondered why he would join in BJP and said it was totally unsubstantiated. He said that he had no interest in politics while stating that he was happy with his roles in films.
