Here are things you must know before you book your tickets
Drishya is the Kannada remake of the Malayalam hit Drishyam that starred Mohan Lal in the lead role
The Telugu remake starring Venkatesh in the main role is all set to hit theatres soon
Plot: A happy family living in a hilly area is confronted with a sudden twist of fate and their decision to take it on results in a struggle that is both painful and engaging. The film is the story of a man's struggle to cover up a murder committed by his family. This is a film that switches genres every second. It opens up as a sweet-coated family drama, gives a fleeting sense of a social chronicle before evolving, almost magically into a game of truth and lies.

Review:
Ravichandran plays a cable operator in a rural area of Kodagu. His life revolves around watching films (even re-editing them to make them better) and taking care of his small family of wife and two daughters.
This is a master remake and perhaps better. Ravichandran has moved on from the image of being a lover boy to a dignified family man. He plays his role to perfection. If you thought his performance in Sudeep's Maanikya as father was impressive, watch Drishya..perhaps his career best we can say. Navya Nair too is the best fit. All characters have given their best. This is not your run-of-the-mill story. Go watch it if you are dying for a change.
We will soon be back with the report on box office collection.
