A sigh of relief for Nani

Actor Nani is relieved that his long delayed flick, ‘Jenda Pai Kapiraju’, is finally making its way to the screens. “I’ve watched the flick three days back and I’ve felt I’ve done something good,” he said, speaking at a press meet of the film in Hyderabad on Tuesday.

The socio-drama which is based on the theme that if you change yourself first, then the society around you will change automatically sees the actor portraying dual roles for the first time. “It’s not tricky to do romantic entertainers, but a film with a social cause always poses a challenging task. It was a great opportunity for me and I grabbed it with both my hands. I had to work hard to show the variations of both the characters. Director Samuthirakani has etched my character very well,” he added.

Though there is a buzz that the film will release in the second week of August, Multidimension Vasu, who is releasing the picture, said that he will release the film on an auspicious date. Amala Paul is paired opposite Nani in the flick.
