Actor Srikanth, who had to fill in the shoes of Venkatesh in ‘Govindudu Andarivadele’ (GA) in the eleventh hour, seems to be quite excited about his role in the flick, a rural family drama. Stating that he plays Ram Charan’s uncle Bangari, he says, “It’s a hilarious role but at the same time has some shades of grey. However, it’s not an out and out dark role. I share certain differences with dad (Prakash Raj) in the film.”

Speaking about the lead star Ram Charan, he says he was a bit anxious about how his younger counter part would conduct himself on the sets since he has seen him growing up. “He was courteous and extremely professional. He reminded me of Annaya (Chiranjeevi) as soon as I started shooting with him. In the way they approach a scene, both are poles apart.”

About collaborating with Krishna Vamsi with whom he worked for in ‘Khadgam’ and ‘Mahatma’ earlier, he shares, “It was a wonderful experience collaborating with him again. He is a master at churning out family dramas and ‘GA’ will prove the fact once again.” Also starring Jayasudha, Kajal Aggarwal and Kamalini Mukherjee in supporting roles, the flick, a Bandla Ganesh production, is scheduled to release on October 1.
