This is a blast- king size. Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif seem to have landed on the sets from ‘Dhoom 2’ and ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ directly. The director (Siddharth Anand) offers you a film, entertains with fizz, froth and total disbelief. Suspended sanity is the call where logic is as precarious as the safety of a performing trapeze artiste. It is the lie back and have fun film that gives you cinematic tourism for a bonus. At a time when the air is full with Bathukamma and dandiya, here is fun all the way. The season for worshipping the Goddess is over. It is now time to see the Greek God in the proper perspective!
Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif
There is out there the genre of cinema which is unabashed about entertainment and does not have mince its perception that cinema is the kind of nonsensical entertainment that is larger than life with glittering stars and an unbelievable script. Speed is the key word.

Where but here can two crooks Omar Zafar (Danny) and his assistant Hamid (Javed Jaffrey) bust a British penitentiary with consummate ease, kill an Indian army officer Viren Nanda (Jimmy Shergill) and escape into thin air? When did you last hear of a bank clerk Harleen (Katrina Kaif) from Shimla go on an exotic world tour (no hassles of passport, visa or currency!), have a blast of a time and return to terra firm with an iconic life partner in Rajveer Nanda (Hrithik)! Where did you notice the theft of the Kohinoor and its tossing about on the roads by the chiselled face hero in the Tom and Jerry chase? Where else can you travel from British Isles to Czech to Shimla to Prague, London, and Darjeeling all in the midst of the growing love tale of the hero and the heroine? Remember Raj Kapoor (old and being rejected at the BO) with swan song Rajshree in ‘Around the World’? This time is the enigmatic Hrithik alongside Midas lady Kat.

In case you are still looking for a story, it is about this guy Rajveer Nanda who beats Omar to the Kohinoor and is at large. A chanced goof up with first date and still waiting Harleen gets the goons chasing the romantic couple. Harleen does not know what hit her and she is on a global roller coaster which includes scenic beaches and unbelievable thrills. The goons chase the couple and so do the police like Vikram Gokhale and Pavan Malhotra. Obviously the bad bad Jewel Thief has a reason which unfolds before you go home with the feeling that bad is bad. Bad here is good. So wait for the climax to unfold. In fact, wait even thereafter for the theme song and dance rendered with grace and class by Katrina and the absolutely brilliant Hrithik.

The film is unabashedly aimed at pure commercial entertainment. It is where the ‘Dhoom’ franchise stopped. It is speedy and fine and unpretentious. The film also bets largely on the screen chemistry of Katrina and Hrithik. Katrina, without doubt, has come a long long way. Having delivered box-office hits in the genre with the two Khans, she now delivers with equal ease with Hrithik Roshan. Her sense of timing is noteworthy. Hrithik reiterates that give him anything magical and he would give you something enigmatic. The guy is awesome and is sure to keep his fan base expanding.

While Vishal Bharadwaj may have centred his tale on the expression, this film has abundance of chutzpah.
