Andarivadele is close to my heart: Kajal

Filmmaker Krishna Vamsi is a relieved man as his October 1 release, ‘Govindudu Andarivadele’ (GA), starring Ram Charan in the lead role, is minting money at the box-office. Heaping high praise on the actor and producer Bandla Ganesh, he said, “At a time when mass films are ruling the roost, Charan agreed to play the lead in ‘GA’, a family drama; it’s a great thing for me. Many producers were against Ganesh’s decision to produce a film with me, keeping in mind the performances of my earlier films, but never did he utter a word about it. I can never forget his support. After Charan he is the biggest hero of the film.” He was speaking at the success meet of the film in Hyderabad on Friday. He was accompanied by Paruchuri Brothers, Kota Sreenivas Rao, Ganesh and Kajal Aggarwal among other unit members.
Stressing the importance of giving complete freedom to the vision of a director, Ganesh said, “I’m indebted to Krishna Vamsi for making a pure Telugu film under my banner.” Kajal expressed her happiness on collaborating with Charan for the third time and with Krishna Vamsi for the second time. “It’s a film that is close to my heart,” she said.
