Pawan, Chiru Eyeing Direction

Another interesting coincidence in the Tollywood. Both the Mega brothers are getting ready to direct their own movies. The news is that Chiranjeevi is all set to hold the mega phone for his 150th film, on the other hand Power star Pawan Kalyan seems to be interested to direct his most awaited Gabbar Singh-2.

Are these rumors true? Coming to Chiranjeevi, after his last movie “Shankar Dada Zindabad”, he made his debut in the state politics. His cinematic glamour failed to give him success. Now he is getting ready for his 150th movie to regain his lost glory. He has been listening to the stories for the past one year. But, none of them were finalized. According to the sources he is interested to take matters into his own hand and direct his 150th movie himself.

Gabbar Singh’s is an entirely different story. It was started a long time ago. It was to be directed by ‘Racha’ fame Sampath Nandi. As soon as the movie started Pawan Kalyan went away for his political campaign. Later he committed to ‘Gopala Gopala’ which postponed Gabbar Singh-2 even more. The latest news is that he finally decided to direct the movie by himself.

Pawan previously directed ‘Jhonny’. Even though the movie is a commercial failure, it brought out the director in Pawan Kalyan. What even might be the reasons, both mega brother eying Megaphones at the same time is one hell of a coincidence. Don’t you agree?
