Paloma Faith cancels concerts due to illness

British pop star Paloma Faith rescheduled her shows in Manchester this week just two hours before the first concert was due to start. She announced her gigs at the Manchester Apollo, on Wednesday and Thursday were being rescheduled due to illness, reports contactmusic.com. She broke the news in a message posted on social networking site Facebook.com on Wednesday.

"Paloma regrets to announce that she has had to cancel tonight's and tomorrow night's shows in anchester due to illness. The shows will be rescheduled for November 26 and 28, tickets for November 5’s show will be valid for the show on the November 26 and tickets for November 6 will be valid for November 28,” the statement reads.

Faith then posted a personal apology on the social networking page. "I'm so sorry I've had to cancel these dates, but I want to be well enough to give you all the best possible show. I hope to be back on my feet after a few days rest, so I look forward to seeing you at the rescheduled dates,” she posted.
