Ramoji Rao’s Usha Kiran Films, which produced more than 85 films, is returning to film production after a long hiatus with ‘Beeruva’. The reputed banner has partnered Gemini Kiran’s Anandi Arts to produce the flick, which sees Sundeep Kishan and Tamil actress Surabhi in the lead roles. Kanmani of ‘Naa Oopiri’ and ‘Chinnodu’ fame has helmed the flick.
About the film, the director said that ‘Beeruva’ plays an integral part in the film; hence they had no options but to go ahead with it as the title. “Generally people take the help of friends to overcome some of their problems but over here Sundeep looks to Beeruva to bail him out most of the times. It’s a screenplay-driven plot,” he said.
Terming the film as his most fun film till date, Sundeep said that Kanmani’s skills helped him to grow as an actor. Ace technicians like cameraman Chota K Naidu and composer SS Thaman have lent their services to the film, which will release this month-end.
