Rajini fan dies watching Lingaa in theatre

A hard core Rajinikanth fan in Coimbatore breathed his last watching Lingaa in a theatre. He was 55 years old and identified as C Rajendran.

Rajendran had gone to catch the second show of the film. Eye witnesses said that he was awake till intermission and also bought some snacks to eat. When the theatre staff found him in a lifeless state post completion of movie, they rushed him to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead two hours ago.

The police found a mobile number behind his son's photo found in the pocket and contacted the family. Medical investigations found that Rajendran had suffered renal failure.

The die-hard Rajinikanth's fan was running a grill making workshop in Perur. He is survived by wife and two children.
