Adah Sharma, who made an impressive debut with Puri Jagganadh’s ‘Heart Attack’ early last year, has been amiss from the big screen ever since. She says the reason for that is the fact that she has been shooting continuously for a couple of projects.

“I am making my Kannada debut with Puneeth Rajkumar’s ‘Rana Vikrama’. Then there’s PVP’s womencentric short film that I have finished shooting for,” she says. But before we ask further details about the latter, she is quick to add, “I am not allowed to reveal much about it.” The Kerala-born has also completed shooting for Allu Arjun and Trivikram’s yet-untitled project.
“I want to do something new with every project of mine. This is one such film. It gave me an opportunity to try my hands at comedy,” shares the lissome actress. The actress, who has been a part of Hindi, Telugu and Kannada industries till now, is game for a foray into Tamil cinema too.
“It’s my mother tongue and I want to do some projects there.” “I’ve signed three more projects – one Hindi and two Telugu. But I am a bit superstitious speaking about them; I would like to talk about them only after an official statement from the production house.” Interestingly, the actress has been living out of a suitcase for a while.
For the past six months, I am spending more time in Hyderabad than at home,” she smiles. Now that she is spending more time in Tollywood, has she got a hang of the language? “To be frank I think if you know one south Indian language, it is kind of easy to grasp the rest. Not that they are similar but I feel it is easy. I have picked up quite a bit,” she shares.
