The actress was earlier barred from accompanying Virat at the tournament as per BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) rules which is applicable for all the team members’ wives and girlfriends.
Now that the team has made it to the knock-out’s, the board has allowed players’ WAGs to accompany them. After Anushka reached, she enjoyed a quiet dinner at an Indian restaurant with her love.
It is worth mentioning that the actress, while promoting ‘NH10’, said she doubts if she would be attending any of the matches, adding that if she were to be in the country, everyone would know about it. Seems like she had a change of heart!
