The actor-director duo had earlier teamed up for ‘Ishq’ which saw Ajay in a meaty role. He also received rave reviews for his performance in the film which gave him scope to showcase both negative and comic sides.
‘24’ which sees Samantha as the female lead is presently being shot in Mumbai. With music by AR Rahman, the film is touted to be an action adventure flick. Also starring Catherine Tresa as the second lead, the film is Suriya’s own production under 2D Entertainment banner.
