The director made an announcement about the film at the ongoing Cannes International Film Festival. And according to reports, Dhanush is already in talks to play Fakir. The story of a cheat who travels from New Delhi to France and ends up falling for a Persian girl, it also sees Fakir being wrongly expelled from the country.
