Speaking at the occasion, chief business officer Uday Menon said that considering its importance in Andhra Pradesh. Barbeque Nation has opened its joint in Vijayawada after Visakhapatnam.

“We are present in 18 cities in India with 50 joints, including the new one. As part of our expansion plan, 30 more outlets would be set up in 20 tier 1 and 2 cities of the country. It needs an investment of Rs 2.75 crore to Rs 3.25 crore to set up a restaurant. Our next joint will come up at Guntur.”

Barbeque Nation has an elaborate menu with over 200 items. “We make sure that our menu changes every week. Local recipes are given priority in designing the menu to suit the tastes of the locals,’’ he added.

Lunch at Barbeque Nation costs Rs 593 (vegetarian) and Rs 656 (non-vegetarian) per head on weekdays. It is priced at Rs 656 (vegetarian) and at Rs 781 (non-vegetarian) on weekends. The price for children starts at Rs 437.
