Mannara opposite Sunil

Actress Mannara, who made her Telugu debut with ‘Prema Geema Janta Nai’ opposite singer Sri Ramachandra a year ago, has been signed on to play Sunil’s leading lady in director Vamsi Krishna Akella’s (Raksha fame) next. The actress is Priyanka Chopra’s cousin and was recently seen in Hindi erotic suspense thriller ‘Zid’.

Vamsi said, “We were on the lookout for a girl who will match Sunil’s comedy timing. The hunt ended with Mannara.” R Sudarshan Reddy of ‘Prema Katha Chitram’ fame is producing this film which will go on to floors in August. Also starring Pradeep Rawat, Nagineedu and Saptagiri in lead roles, the film, an actioner with twists and turns, will have music by Dinesh.
