Even as the awards and the glimpse of favourite stars are the most looked forward to events, the plethora of performances being planned for the event are turning out to be crowd pullers. There will be Amala Paul, Shriya Saran, Shruti Haasan, Taapsee, Pranitha, Usha Uthup and Devi Prasad performing for the SIIMA 2015.

In the Tamil film industry ‘Kaththi’ seems to be hogging limelight with many nominations to its credit. ‘Kaththi’ gets nominated in all 8 categories - Neil Nithin Mukesh for Best Actor in Negative Role, Anirudh Best Music Director, Samantha for Best Actor, Shobhi, Best Dance Choreographer, Vijay for Best Actor and AR Murugadoss for the Best Director and the Best Film too.

In the Telugu film categories, the choice for the best becomes more difficult as there are no evident favourites emerging. Films like ‘1 Nenokkadine’, ‘Manam’, ‘Legend’, ‘Race Gurram’, ‘Govindudu Andarivadele’, ‘Yevadu’ and ‘Drushyam’ feature prominently in the nomination list.
