A source close to the unit says, “The makers were looking for a fresh face and Sonam perfectly fit the bill. They approached her straightway and impressed by the script, she gave her nod.” The Uttarakhand-based actress, who made her Tamil debut with ‘Kappal’, has already begun shooting for her part.
