Actor Gopichand seems to be on a signing spree. Close on the heels of giving his nod to a couple of films, the lanky actor, in a fresh development, has agreed to star in Paruchuri Murali’s next. The actor-director duo is coming together for the second time after the successful ‘Andhrudu’, which released a decade ago.
After starring in a slew of family and romantic dramas, Gopichand, according to our sources, thought it would be a welcome change for him to try a new angle in Murali’s drama peppered with action.“Gopichand took a liking to Murali’s narrative and believed the shades in his character will elevate his mass appeal. He has okayed the project and the script work is currently underway,” said a source.
Bringing the combination together are Bhagawan and Pulla Rao, who earlier produced Prabhas-starrer ‘Rebel’. The makers are on the hunt for a leading lady.
Gopi, meanwhile, is on the verge of completing his part for ‘Soukhyam’, directed by AS Ravikumar Chowdary. The actor shall begin shooting for AM Jyothi Krishna’s film next.
