Shah Rukh Khan celebrates his 50th Birthday simply giving back all his love to his fans and the media. A huge crowd of fans gathered around outside SRK's house 'Mannat' to wish him on his birthday. The actor greeted his fans and thanked them for all the love and blessings.
Shah Rukh Khan celebrated his 50th birthday with the media in a five star hotel with great pomp and show where a special event was organized to entertain the media. Songs from his films were displayed on the screen by a DJ as well a group of dancers sizzled on his numbers. Shah Rukh really had a tough time entertaining all his fans but patiently went out to wave to his die-hard fans who he feels are his best buddies. Shah Rukh keeping the timely interaction with the media made it up very much on time. Usually, we grumble about the actors not reaching in time regardless to their busy schedule. When one may get into his shoes will we know how difficult it is for the busiest actors like the King Khan to be able to reach in time. Yet he sincerely makes it to greet and meet every single person keeping up to his commitment as always.
In a brief interaction with the media he answered a volley of queries in his own style-
Childhood memories:
Though I have already visited my DDA flat in Delhi where we resided once. I did put up a chit on the door but no one returned back to me. Probably they may have thought that it could not be Shah Rukh?? Any ways, whenever I would get time in future I would like to visit the lanes of Chandni-chowk and the old fort where my dad prepared tea for the actors Raj Babbar and Ajit Vachani, I would help my dad prepare the tea and he served them. It is from here I was inspired towards performing arts, as I watched many plays then. My dad was not an actor at all.
On life time journey:
My Journey has been wonderful. Not many people may have experienced a life like mine. There have been happy, sad and frustrating moments in my last 25 years of work and this life-time. I would never prefer change it for another life I would always look forward to this life ahead if I am bestowed upon another human life by the almighty God.”
You have always imparted some message through your films be it Chak De India, Happy New Year and many more, what is Fan all about?
“I've done a lot of films, but this film can't be compared to them. However, Fan is the most special one. I don't know as an actor if I've got it right, the film and my role is challenging enough but I've tried to give my best. I'll make at least 5 films to be remembered by and I'm hoping Fan will be one of them. Also every year I will do at least three films in a year. After say about five years I may get onto direction. But again would get back to acting. Adding more about 'Fan', SRK said, "It's a script. The superstar in the film is someone you haven't seen before. I want to make something new and not recreate."
On Salman Khan wishing him and his kids for his birthday:
“I too wish that Salman’s kids take his name [legacy] forward. Love to his family. I love him very much and don’t want any controversy. He is a stud and my best buddy.”
Birthday celebrations this year:
"We're a simple family. We just cut cake and that's all. Tomorrow I will be going to Goa to shoot so if I party, I won't be able to wake up and make it on time. We will party after I have wrapped up the final stint of Dilwale."
Gifts from his kids on his 50th birthday:
“This year my kids have not gifted me anything. You have everything papa, so what do we gift you?" said my kids. But yes! They gave me a tight Hug and tons of kisses. That's more than enough.”
On choosing to be an actor:
“I would surely like to go back to old fort in Delhi. I used to go to the canteen and watch a lot of plays there. It’s the place where I fell in love with acting. I still remember Raj Babbar and Ajit Vachani used to come there and I helped my dad make tea. When I lost my parents I was really sad but now having such wonderful obedient kids I feel good. Having kids is the most special thing in my life I feel like I've just started working.”
SRK in his leisure hours:
“My favourite place to get some peace and relaxation is my bathroom. Whenever I get time, I like having a bath with my youngest kid little AbRam.” the actor revealed.
Social Media:
”On social media, I ask fans not to use profanities. If you want to abuse someone, say it on their face and not behind their back. I don't like people talking about my family and kids it irritates me. The absence of friends is made up by the fans. They are my best friends.”
Romantic actor amongst every age groups female fans:
“While I was in high school, I would stand like I don't like girls, because I was scared they would say no to me. I'm not good looking, certainly not a poster boy. I'm not special for a girl to like me. I know my secret for me being romantic boy for all girls and women; I dignify each and every lady I meet. It’s the feel of dignifying them enhances the love for me. Women don’t like me for my looks, they like me because I give them dignity. That's all women need.”
