‘Bang Baaja Baaraat’ on YouTube definitely is a fresh rib-tickling web series. For the first time YRF has been so forthcoming while the series showcases all what happens behind the scene when marriages are going ahead. Anand Tiwari and Amritpal Bindra, who have written, directed and produced the show for Y Films, said, “We were keen that our script revolved around a wedding, considering that marriages are a major part of Indian culture, bringing together families. Also, we tried to target the stress, strain and the real happenings that go on in the minds as well in real during the celebrations’ before and after as well.”
New bee Angira Dhar is all enthused to be working with YRF, “Yes! I am really happy that I am beginning my web series stint through YRF. I have signed a three film deal with them. There is a myth that we have to finish all three films with the YRF; yes right we have to choose the films offered. We are also allowed to do films outside the banner if bestowed upon a chance outside.”
Updating about her earlier life before this web series happened, she adds, “I was working as an AD for commercials. I hail from Mulund. After finishing my post graduation, I decided to get into the creative field. I did have an inclination towards the craft and thus took to acting now. Hopefully, I think I have put in my best in this web series. I am open to be working with Shahrukh’s Red chilies as well Salman’s SKF production house respectively. Indeed I am looking out to be working with everyone. As an actor I feel I can enthrall the audiences with what so ever part I may be given.”
Talking about mouthing Cuss words, she says, “Hum log in shabdo ko use karte hai apni daily life mein!! Which youth has not mouthed cuss words while conversing during their daily discussions? I am used to mouthing these cuss words you guys hear in this web series,” smiles Angira.
Lastly, having begun with the YRF, she says, “I am surely lucky enough to start with the YRF. Who will not be on the seventh heaven when he/she gets a chance to work with Yash Raj banner? I am looking forward to a happening journey in the B-town. It’s just the beginning.”
