Aithe 2.0 rolls on

Known for films like ‘Rishi’ and ‘Andhra Pori’, Raj Madiraju’s next, ‘Aithe 2.0’, a Telugu-Hindi bilingual, went on to floors in Hyderabad on Monday.

Fairly new faces Indranil Gupta, Abhishek, Neeraj, Mrunal, Karthavya Sharma and Zara Shah are playing the lead roles in the film, a techno thriller which underlines the ill effects of technology and social media on youth.

“It will have no similarities with Chandrasekhar Yeleti’s ‘Aithe’. However, it can be labeled as a reboot version of ‘Aithe’,” said Madiraju.

To be wrapped up in 40-45 days, the film is a joint venture between Dr Hemanth Vallapu Reddy, Dr Ravi N Rathi and K Vijaya Rama Raju.
