It’s a love story laced with entertainment: Hanu on his flick with Nani

While his film with Rana Daggubati might not have taken off courtesy the actor’s extended involvement in ‘Baahubali’, director Hanu Raghavapudi has moved on and has almost wrapped up his as-yet untitled venture with Nani. “Barring a few days of talkie portions and two songs, the shoot is over,” said Hanu when Hans Talkies contacted him. “We are planning to wrap it up by this month-end.”

Commenting on the genre of the film, the reclusive director, who made his debut with the critically acclaimed ‘Andala Raksasi’ said, “It is an entertaining love story. Nani is playing a lovable, positive and energetic character. He is also a fan of Nandamuri Balakrishna in the film.”

When asked whether it is a rural drama, he said, “It moves from Anantapur to Hyderabad. 40 per cent of it has been shot at Anantapur.” About his film with Rana, he revealed, “We are committed to each other to do the film but I don’t know when it will happen. Fingers crossed! It is a mounted on a large scale,” he stated.
