Though Mahesh’s films like ‘Nenokkadine’ and ‘Aagadu’ collected up to Rs 40 crores, they were termed as flops because of the huge money invested on these projects.

Then the actor controlled the budget of ‘Srimanthudu’ and scored a blockbuster. But now, it looks like the overshooting budget is troubling Mahesh once again.
It is said that the budget of ‘Brahmotsavam’ is exceeding the limit. The makers planned a medium range film first but after the success of ‘Srimanthudu’, expectations were raised over this film. Also the film is moving at a slow pace and there is a lot of pending work, says a source. Due to this the budget is increasing heavily and the makers are not able to control it.
Also Mahesh-Murugadoss film is expected to be made with a whopping Rs 100 crores budget in Telugu as well as Tamil. As Mahesh is the co-producer of both these films, the huge budgets are worrying him. But Mahesh has the capacity to recover the entire investment and make the films enter into profits if they get positive talk. Till then we have to wait and see what happens…
