Wamiqa Gabbi is in no hurry
After the success of ‘Bhale Manchi Roju’, Wamiqa Gabbi has been getting many offers. The latest we hear she was approached for one of the lead roles in Nikhil’s upcoming film, directed by VI Anand. But Wamiqa says she’s in no rush to sign films.
After the success of ‘Bhale Manchi Roju’, Wamiqa Gabbi has been getting many offers. The latest we hear she was approached for one of the lead roles in Nikhil’s upcoming film, directed by VI Anand. But Wamiqa says she’s in no rush to sign films.
“I have been getting offers but haven’t signed any project. I’m working on a couple of Tamil films and shall take a call on it (Telugu project) soon to avoid any date clash. I’m taking one step at a time.”
The Chandigarh-born actress, who also debuted in Tamil recently with ‘Maalai Nerathu Maya’, got rave reviews for her portrayal as Manoja, an urban girl.
“I want to thank the audience for accepting me and I’m slowly putting effort to understand the language and culture in South. I wasn’t sure that I’ll get to work down here but now I have ended up signing a couple of films – that’s destiny,” she explains.
