Jimmy Sheirgill, Amitabha Singh promote SHORTCUT SAFAARI at Atharva's cultural fest 

It was a crazy day for Atharvaites as Bollywood actor Jimmy Sheirgill made a dashing entry at the on-going cultural festival ‘Rhythm 2016’. Jimmy Sheirgill, who had arrived along with director Amitabha Singh, was seen promoting his forthcoming film SHORTCUT SAFAARI which is tentatively scheduled to release during the summer vacations.

SHORTCUT SAFAARI is a jungle adventure film where a group of some urban school kids embark on an extraordinary journey as they find themselves stranded in a dense forest. In pursuit of finding a way out of the jungle,the children get to interact with nature and understand its value in life.

Directed by Amitabha Singh, SHORTCUT SAFAARI has been screened at various film festivals and applauded for its performances. SHORTCUT SAFAARI marks Amitabha Singh’s directorial debut. Amitabha has been a leading DoP with titles like CHILLAR PARTY, KHOSLA KA GHOSLA, the National Award winners, and India’s Oscar entrant in 2014, THE GOOD ROAD to his credit.

Jimmy Sheirgill shared about the film by saying, “SHORTCUT SAFAARI promotes nature, environment & global warming which are important messages for today’s children. However, these messages should be communicated in an entertaining way which is what the movie does.”

Director Amitabha Singh also mentioned that the trailer has been receiving good response, “Children have reacted very positively and are grasping the message of the film very quickly.”
