Sukumar film will have Naga Shaurya

Contrary to rumors that Naga Shaurya has been dropped from Sukumar’s film, we have reliably learnt that the project is on. The young actor, who is back in the reckoning after the recent success of ‘Kalyana Vaibhogame’, was handpicked by director Sukumar to star in one of his forthcoming projects under his home production. Buoyed by his performance in the family drama, Sukumar has roped in the actor.

The project comes as a huge boost to the actor since this is the first time he would work under a top director. A source in the know reveals, “Shaurya aspires to do edgy films that have fresh storylines to reach out to the wider audience. Since the plot of the film was based on a delicate theme, he was excited with the sharp writing.

Moreover, since it was produced by Sukumar, he did not have a second thought.” Soon to hit the deck, the production house meanwhile, is on the anvil of finalizing the director and the final cast and crew.
