Catherine approached for Gopichand’s next

After Allu Arjun-starrer ‘Sarrainodu’, Catherine Tresa’s stocks have suddenly shot up. In this regard, the latest we hear is that the Malayalam actress has been approached to pair up with Gopichand for his yet-untitled film with Sampath Nandi.

Apparently, producers Bhagawan and Pulla Rao are keen to have Catherine on board since they feel the lead pair would be fresh. Moreover, Sampath Nandi has penned a strong female role and felt that an actress of Catherine’s pedigree can pull it off. She has been told about the script and is content with her character and script.

However, since she’s shooting for a couple of Tamil films, she is trying to avert a date clash. “Catherine is looking forward to sign more projects in Telugu and she’s seriously considering Gopichand’s film since it’s an author backed role. She’s working on her date diary at the moment. If it doesn’t work out then we’ll have to look for an alternative,” informs unit sources.
