NTR to sport grunge and youthful look

Ever since the first look and teaser of ‘Janatha Garage’ were released, fans and the audience have been going gaga over NTR’s new look and styling. While he sported a cone beard flashy look (as a Brit-born) in ‘Nannaku Prematho’, the actor has moved on to boy-next-door look for his upcoming film with Koratala Siva.

So what went into NTR’s rejuvenated look? The actor’s stylist, Ashwin Mawle, says, “Three of us (me, Koratala and NTR) decided on the look that’s more like a boy-next-door and anyone can relate to. Since his character is very realistic, we ensured that the look compliments it. He sports a boy-next-door hairdo with stubble – just like how a college-goer dresses up. We experimented with several looks like spike and trendy but eventually zeroed in on boyish look. The funda was to make him look stylish by keeping it simple.”

Sharing details about NTR’s costumes in the action entertainer, Ashwin reveals, “The film and Tarak’s role doesn’t demand him to be stylish, fashionable and flamboyant. It’s more like a boy in our neighbourhood. So we got the costumes that make him look younger. The colors pallets we chose were also not gaudy and vibrant (bright). It’s a rare mix of grungy and youthfulness. We struck a balance between not being too fashionable and easygoing. We shopped in Dubai and Thailand.”
