Akhil, Hanu film is on! Mythri Movie Makers to produce

While his film with Hanu Raghavapudi might not be happening now, Akhil will be working with the filmmaker for sure, Talkies has learnt. “Mythri Movie Makers which was supposed to produce Akhil and Hanu film is keen on bringing together this combination next summer.

The project is very much on as both the actor and director are keen on teaming up with each other. Contrary to the rumours, Hanu is not making the story that he narrated to Akhil, with Nithiin. The director has narrated a new line to the ‘A… Aa’ star,” confirms a source close to the development.

The source adds, “Hanu’s film with Nithiin is a love story which will be high on humour and has scope for some adventure too. It will be a first of its kind for the actor in his 14-year career.

The script work is going on and will pickup pace once Hanu is relieved from his wedding formalities (He will tie the knot with Amulya in Visakhapatnam on August 27). The film will roll in October and Nithiin is required to go for a slight makeover.

Cinematographer Yuvaraj (of ‘Krishnagaadi Veeraprema Gaadha’ fame) is on board to shoot the film.” So, who will direct Akhil next? “The actor is looking at people like Surender Reddy, Vikram Kumar and Deva Katta for his next. He will take a call soon.”
