Siddhartha readying for release
After highly successful soap operas ‘Chakravakam’ and ‘Mogalirekulu’, Sagar, who made her film debut with ‘Man of the Match’, is gearing up for his next release ‘Siddhartha’, directed by Naresh Chandra.
After highly successful soap operas ‘Chakravakam’ and ‘Mogalirekulu’, Sagar, who made her film debut with ‘Man of the Match’, is gearing up for his next release ‘Siddhartha’, directed by Naresh Chandra. Sharing details of the project, he reveals, “I play a guy who has a faction (Anantapur) backdrop in the film, which is a love story set amid action scenario.”
The film has been in the making since a long time but it did not deter the actor. “We shot at intermittent schedules, plus the lack of the availability of key crew like Mani Sharma and cameraman Gopal Reddy also delayed the proceedings. But our confidence over the content always kept us upbeat,” opines Sagar. Produced by Dasari Kiran Kumar, the film is slated for release in September.
