Vmax unveiled the short film ‘App Chronicles’ that brings to fore the untold stories of the faces behind India’s rapidly growing app ecosystem. The exclusive series celebrates early milestones of those in the journey of becoming a successful app entrepreneur. These stories of their struggles and making it on their own are often drowned in all the noise.

“App Chronicles are the stories of emerging app entrepreneurs. These are people with sheer raw talent and infinite hunger to make meaningful apps for Indian consumers. India is at a point where soon there will be thousands of such app entrepreneurs. We hope that through these untold stories of battling against all odds, we can inspire the next generation of app entrepreneurs,” said Dippak Khurana, Co-Founder & CEO, VMAX.

Today, India is the third-largest market in the world when it comes to Playstore downloads. However, it is not just a few chosen top apps that are responsible for making India’s app ecosystem as big as it is. Thousands of apps, made by many highly enterprising and ambitious, yet lesser known independent app entrepreneurs are the driving force behind this growth.

For the series, Vmax has roped in award-winning dialogue and screenwriter Ramendra Vashisht of ‘Mary Kom’ fame to direct the series. Season 1 of App Chronicles features five such stories which will be released on a daily basis. The season kicked off last week with ‘UnderDOGS Gaming’ – a game studio made out of strong resolve and determination. The coming episodes will cover stories of Outthinking Pvt. Ltd; the young and restless GameEonInfotech; the risk-taking nature of Dumadu Games; and the passion and resilience of Mobi2Fun Mobile Entertainment.
